Regular Meetings... Business as Usual

During the pandemic, in early 2020, it was difficult to coordinate meetings with the 'social distancing' policy, and venues were closed or not open for business.   However, we eventually turned to the next best thing, which was holding our meetings online via Zoom.  In late 2021 and 2022, since the ban on gatherings has been lifted albeit wearing masks are still followed by those with health issues, we have a combination or 'hybrid' ways of meeting regularly - live and via online.

Rotary District Governor Henrietta "Hank" Huisking spoke about Rotary International President of 2021-2022 Shekhar Mehta who is urging members to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own.

Our Rotary Club members who attended the District Governor's visit came 'live' at our neighborhood Del Lago Golf Club in Vail.  They had a wonderful and fruitful early morning breakfast meet with DG Henrietta and Club President Meg.  Members who were out of town including our co-President Mark and those who are high-risk for Covid-19  attended the event via Zoom.
